Some days I like to leave the yak at home and wade some of our local creeks. I’ve caught a lot of smallies but this one has to be one of the prettiest.

Great markings on that fish.
Most of the ones I caught were run of the mill colors, this one is the prettiest one I’ve caught in a while. Here’s an example of what I’m talking about.
Still a pretty fish.

I hear that the Russian has wadeable water and smallmouth but I haven't made it over yet.
