So i decided to replicate a Halloween swimbait I have on a jig. Well the different brands of paint mixed up to a interesting color, instead of the yellowish gold flake, I got green. So I figured I would throw a picture of it on here and see if I should do more or not.

I like the colors but don't know if the RF will.

You should toss them.... They look like they wont catch anything.  I'll take them off your hands for free though  :smt044

:smt044 So far its just the one jig. But I now have a little container of greenish flake.

So I guess my question should be should I make more jigs with that green or send it to the trash can (the paint).

Get rid of them!  And being the kind, caring, and compassionate individual I am, I'll even drive all that way to walk them to your garbage can.

Yeah, like EWB said, the colors are much different at depth due to light penetration and color spectrum.  I dont fully understand it, though I've read it a bunch of times  :smt044  But Green should be a good color at depth, since its farther down the light spectrum, it should actually show it's color better, unlike red which disappears first.  And toss all that out the window if your using florescent colors

If I came up with something that looked that good I'd hate to bang it against the rocks 60 feet down...

Never toss a lure until you've tried it out,

Like others have said try it and see. To be completely honest I think the way a jig swims effects the bite more than color. I don't mean that in the sense of design but how the individual lure acts when it falls. Some swim and get bit others don't and you have to tune them. Color is not as important as long as it's not blue. I have always tended to have bad luck fishing blue jigs.

I think the orange belly makes it a keeper and light colors are always good.
