I'd bite those swimbaits.

Anybody know how to lessen the plastic smell of swimbaits? Soak them in water, set out in the sun, etc.?

I agree with the procure solution.  Some of mine have a hollow cavity that will get an injection of procure.  The plastic smell seems to go away by itself a few days after they're poured.  Tipping with squid always improves the bite.
