Went to the forebay this morning and preceded to have one of the best days on the water.  Third cast it was fish on for a couple hours pretty much non stop.  Caught tons of stripers on a size 2 grey clouser.  Average size is the fish in the first pic, but I got lucky and caught a descent one.  This is the first time I caught stripers in my kayak so needless to say it was awesome.  Bummer the wind came up, after fighting it for 2+ hours I just couldn't do it any more.  It started getting to be real big water out there so I left because I know what can happen out there in a matter of seconds.  Pretty much fisher the tower island in 13 feet deep water.  Plan to go back next weekend, tempted to go back tomorrow but the wind will probably be there again.

Nice fishin, I miss going there. I've had some ridiculous fishing days there. There are some big bass there too.
Fish to live.

Sounds fun, congrats
Remember to practice safe knots, because big fish don't just break your line, they also break your heart.

Clayman, since I was throwing t14 I use my 7 weight.  I can throw shooting heads far and accurate with this setup.
