A float tuber won !
Why Do I paddle a kayak instead of a float tube or a pontoon boat? I like seeing where I'm going not where I've been!
Paddle safe and wrap'em tight.

I didn't catch this at first until I read SkyGreen's post.. but this was one of the Plastic Navy tournament trail events right?  Looks like the rubber armada outfished the plastic navy.

An armada of one. Them's the breaks, even on a kayak you can run past the fish. The winner, Patrick Sullivan, weighed 11.5 lbs, all spotties, a very nice job.

Another 'non-yakker' came in second, but this guy fished from a kayak. Dennis Burlason is famous from his boat-based tournament victories. Glad to see the competition trickling into the kayak ranks. It will push everyone to hone their skills.

Nick Meyer is the real story. This kid is leading after two events. Impressive.

Where were you Pal?

Laid up after semi-urgent surgery. Nothing too serious, but it couldn't wait and will have me off the water for a couple of weeks. I got the scoop from Drew because I have to write about it later. Did you meet Mike B from WON? How was your fishing day?
