Last Saturday, Hobie Golden Gate outing was a successful event from what I can tell.  Had a one time experience this month going out tandem fishing without the floats and the sail.  Boy, it is too heavy for me to carry only the main vessel along with Ken for a short walking distance on the sands at Bean Hollow.

Not sure if some of you aware of the existence of this unique company in Boston.  So light and a top grade carbon craftsmanship in my own eyes.  I think they have a place for those who wants to sail in the bay but don't want to deal with the full size one or feel Hobie is too heavy to deal with.   Prices are not low, but the weight alone is a win win situation for an older person like me to deal with.
