Went to Cambria for a Saturday wedding.  Thought I might throw the new Hobie inflatable I11s in at
San Simeon pier.  First winter swell of the year according to a local at the elephant seal rookery.  So fished a little from the pier.  Only kelp hooked.  Lady next to me caught one small pier perch.  Went to Lake Nacimiento Sunday and broke out th new yak.   Wife’s I11s we used in San Diego Mission Bay.  I used my outback there.  My new one did not want to,steer.  Two problems.  Steering strings were very slack, so adjusted them and steered much better.  Also the steering control is cracked.  So Hobie warranty issue.  Had a nice pedal, we stayed in the marina zone, so only a couple f idiot jet skis ignoring the 5 mph zone.  Tried fishing, and not fish were hurt.  Had one hit in a nice long cove across, from the marina.  Like the new boat.
