I've lost the charger to my extra radio. It cost as much as a new radio if I can even find a replacement. I'm wondering if anyone has a lost or broken radio with a working charger laying around.

No it has two metal contacts that connect when you put it in the charging base.

Hey Traildad,
I have a SH HX 851 charger that I don't need & also a car charger. Will that work for you. It is the older version of SH HX 870I. If it works for you, you can have it.
Here's the pics.
I live in the East Bay, Oakland.

It might help. I also need a charger base before I could use it. Part of my problem is figuring out which power brick is the right one or if it matters. My owners manual covers two different radios and therefore lists two different chargers but doesn't say which is for which. When I figure it out I might be able to use it. Thanks.
