Had been waiting to see if JS will design a new yak for JK, and it's my guess that this is his baby after coming over to JK. Will be cool to see the full hull design and hear some stats on the weight and such.  Oops!  Looks like that is in the link already!

I'm stoked to get this yak and check it out!!

Lot of kayak fishing specific features that I prolly will never use, but think it's gonna make an excellent tricked out dive yak!!

And...when I do bust out the rod and reel I think I am really gonna dig the added features!!

Shit, and all this time I thought I was paddling the one kayak that Sammons raved about for years. Follow the money sonny.

Looked promising until I saw that.

I do love the deck layout. Really do. Everything is there. The weight is comparable to any other paddle boat in that class. Except.....

Hmmm, Is that an actual 75lbs, or a kayak manufacturers 75lbs?
OK claims the T13 is 67lbs, but the T15 only 60 (head scratch).
RTM claims the Abaco is 60. I know that is bullpucky.
I'm calling shenanigans.

Maybe they are being honest. I'll need to lift one overhead like I do (cuz I'm stubborn and stupid) before I consider a purchase.

The T15 was rated at 72 I read somewhere. My T-13 is dead nuts 62 dry. The 4.7 is at 80 Its heavy but glides well. If the hull glides well, which it should and better, seeing who signed off on it, it'll be a keeper.

Wonder if you could special order without the 'tacked on' YakAttack tracks on the bow.  :-)
