Just got home
GREAT TIME!
Storm Trooper???? Hardly.
Calm, warm, flat water and blue skies.
Last night around midnight or so the fan turned on. Didn't bother me a bit.  :smt044
Motorhome ran like a champ the whole time there and back.

Thank you to everyone that showed up for another great A-Hull Forebay FnC. The fam and I had a blast and it was great seeing some of you cats that I only get to see once or twice a year. I also got to meet a couple of new folk, as well. I wish I would've hung out more Saturday night, but I laid down with Derik to put him to sleep and I straight crashed out, too, until 11:00 or so when the wind kicked up a bit and I had to tie down the EZ-up.

I got up and just tied it to my bumper hitch rack that was laying next to my truck since it's pretty heavy. Then I stashed anything that could fly away in the tent and got back in my warm covers in the back of the 4Runner. Maybe an hour later I'm woken up by the sound of the rack being dragged across the ground by the EZ-up. I get back up and hastily tie one of the other tie-downs to an almost full porta shower water container and jump back into my truck to sleep because now I'm really tired. Soon after that I'm woken again by the rack being dragged across the pavement. Somehow the porta shower thing opened up and water was leaking out and now it wasn't an effective EZ-up anchor. I was freezing, so I quickly put one of my coolers on top of the porta shower water thingy and put my BBQ grill inside of the trailer hitch rack and jumped back into my 4Runner to get warm and finally go to sleep. Not long after that I was awoken by the sound of the EZ-up banging on the pavement. My two anchors had held and now the opposite side of the EZ-up was getting air-born and slamming back down on the ground. I was really cold and really tired so I grabbed another one of the coolers that was laying around and stuck the leg of the EZ-up into the handle. It was holding the EZ-up down so back into the 4Runner I scampered. Sometime later I was awoken by a very large gust of wind that shook the whole truck. I looked out the window and one side of the EZ-up was folded in the middle. The foot that was in the cooler handle had just enough movement for it to come off the ground a little and cause the middle supports of the EZ-up to buckle downward. So I got up again and adjusted the cooler so that there was no movement of that foot at all and crawled back into bed just as the sun was starting to turn the sky pink.

I think I got about two hours of sleep Saturday night, but other than that it was a great time!   :smt005
