there are only 3 types of beer i do not like; warm beer, flat beer and no
beer.
my favorite beer is" racer 5 " by the bear republic brewery in healdsburg. it has 7% alcohol, comes in a big bottle and has a clean sharp taste. 2 of these gets a good buzz going, 4 makes me do bad things.  maybe we can get sponsorship for a lake mendo striper tournament?
p.s. i use duct tape to attach a bicycle water bottle holder holder to my tube rod holder, those big bottle fit well.

I remember drinking OE and St. Ides in high school out of the 40oz bottle.  I wonder if my liver will ever forgive me...

That's my favorite kind!
Otherwise i usually stick to heavy brews except of a hot day then coronas.  Mostly homebrew is what I drink though.

There is a San Diego microbrewery that makes an excellent beer.

Yellowtail ale.  It is made by Ballast Point Brewing Company.  If you can find it, buy it.

Given a choice I'll usually pick corona or fosters, but if I want to party like its 1999, steel reserve chalks in at 8.1%.  My favorite 'snob' beer is anchor steam.

I don't enjoy wizzing in my yak, so I generally don't bring any along with me.

one of my favorites right now is FAT TIRE. maybe because it's a recent discovery- i don't know, but its pretty good.  Other favorites are Sapphoro , Bass, & Balckened Voodoo.

on the hall of fame lits:
>> Mickey's Big Mouth (remember back when the bottles had pull tabs?)
>> Red Stripe
>> Xingu - brazilliian black beer (that shit's got punch & it came in 40oz bottles)
>> Budweiser

1) Corona w/ lime and salt on the rim.
2) Corona in a glass of ice, 2 squeezed lemons and salt on the rim.
3) Corona (any style above) + ceviche w/ fish you just caught = priceless
