Is the link to look up when a lake near you might get some dinner plate trout plants.
My lake,  Loch Lomond, starts Apr 4-8!
Now if I can pnly get my knee to heal so I can launch my outback!

Loch Lomond already had one plant this year.

This little one fell victim to a castmaster trolled 30 feet deep behind trout flashers heading towards the dam accross from the launch ramp.

So far for me the trouting has been abysmal at the Loch.  In 3 trips so far this season that is the only trout I have caught.

Bass fishing has been pretty good.  The average class of bass in LL is very good.

Hopefully with another trout plant we will get better trout fishing and an upward spike in the swimbait fishing for bass.

I think they had a plant last week, too.

We had easy limits on several trips last year from Apr - Jun.  It probably just needs to warm a little bit.

They planted on the 15th of March and will plant again the week of the 5th.

Just got off the phone with them.

surface temp 60, temp at 100ft near the dam 50.

Trout still slow, bass biting and on their beds.
