went out to Lexington lake with my neighbor Dave for an evening fish. Haven't  been in a long time but what the heck, its only 5mile away and first day of summer. The water look a little low with a little breeze on the water but it turned out oK. Got a little action on some Bass and Dave with a bass and blue gills.  All C&R.

Nice...gotta love bluegill. They are prolly the first fish most of us ever caught and every now and then it's nice to catch a few here and there...

Before they drained this place out I would have a fun time with loads of crappies. Haven't been back since the drain. Any luck with crappies in recent years?

I haven't tried for them yet. What set up and what bait do you use to target them?
