new to the site

  Hi all and hope everyone is having a merry christmas..I am new to the site and love to spearfish and take abs, been on a few dives w big jim who took me on my first spearing adventure.. He is a great ambassador to the sport.. anyways i look foreward to tips and meeting you guys on the water sometime soon
   Any advice would be appreciated on this , as i am getting ready to make the purchase of my first kayak.. its between the ok trident 13 and the wilderness 135 ride.. I will be diving off it for abs and spearing and also fishing some kokanee and coho salmon in oroville  .. leaning towards the ride 135 after i saw the new seat and the slide track system for down riggers

   good point tote.... rob when and where do you want to hook up??  i was planning on making a purchase at the sport show that starts the 10Th but not going to it until that sunday.. i had surgery on my back a couple years ago and the ride seat looks comfy..

The ride seat is nice. I think an extra gel seat pad would make it better, but I don't use one. I may make one Sturgeon run to a place up by Sac before the end of the year. After New Years I will be a little more open. I'm supposed to be working at ISE this year too. Surgeon run would be Sat or Sun this week. I'll PM you if I get out. Not sure if the pricing will be better at the show or not.

We'll hook up sometime. Sat I am working and Sunday is my bday and am running a half marathon in Marin. 
    I was hoping for a deal at ise but will maybe get ideas instead
