That's Kayak Fish magazine, not Kayak Fishing Magazine.

But yeah I saw it too - 36" wide?  Sounds like they're trying to compete with a PA.

I think they are trying to compete with JK BigRig and use new generation of Torque there - as many I also question the possible future waight

I'm sure polepole knows the answer but has been sworn to secrecy.  I'm curious as to what the "hands free" means for sure.

but considering that Johnson owns Minn Kota, I think the new generation torque idea would make some sense.

Man if it's enough to get 2 kids it should be enough to push a kayak.

I have 80lbs thrust trolling motor on my 18' pontoon boat & it pushes it with 6 adults on board just fine to ~5mph

Ruben, you paddled a predator when? For a barge it paddled surprisingly well. That motor will push it faster than any stealth can be paddled.  :smt003 :smt006

Generally 55# is about the limit for a 12v motor or it just runs too inefficient.

Are you confirming it will be something like a 55lb thrust trolling motor on a 36" wide kayak craiggers?  :smt003

...just joking about the 72lbs thrust. 32lbs is plenty. Unless you're talking about pelvic thrust.

Uh huh 36lbs.on the torque. 5.5 MPH top on the torque. factory specs. First time I saw one OTW was at Yakhoppers ARW event. The old due was going the wrong way on the incoming and I was like WTF? It doesn't seem worth it to me. Yet. :smt003
