We have our Dream Home in West Sonoma County,

There are also reasons we have it,

one reason, we have a lot of spiders !!!   :tongue2:

we are getting tented in a few months then off to replacing the roof, and they will be back after that,,,

But does anyone have "non-toxic" ideas of how to give spiders the boot?

We have this stuff in the mail,  https://thrivemarket.com/p/stay-away-natural-spider-repellent?utm_source=bing&utm_medium=pla&utm_medium=pla&utm_source=bing&utm_campaign=Shopping_Home_Garden&utm_content=698703023121&utm_term=bing-pla_na&msclkid=88bacf2b455e1ce703b9958f38eeb8d8

let y'all know how this works,

Nice to post something a little more lighter, even if it is about friggen spiders...   :smt002

  Thanks in Advance    :smt006

Ticks,,, yes, I was wondering about that as we seem to also have a healthy population of Blue Belied Swifts, which are awesome and their main diet I believe is ticks,,,

but have not come across one of those yet,

El Sobrante was horrible with them !!!

Ever come across a Cave Spider ?

Wow,  had to deal with one in Costa Rica ,,,

these things look like they came straight from the Matrix Movies,,

Fast, Knarly and very hard to kill ,,,

  Yes,

 as Abking has said,

" me and my Ozark Spell check ,,, "

  It is a strong weakness, but I've always had a modo about that;

" If ya can't spell a word at least 3 different ways, your not very creative or trying ,,,"

not sure that applies here when ya spell another word, but alas,

back to the issue at hand as I'm currently tearing into my walls to Evict?  Rats and Bats,,,

Giving them the personal notice right to their grimy paws ,,,   :smt075

Rat guy that came by told me there has been a tremendous increase in Rat activity outside the fire areas in Santa Rosa as Rats are looking for new homes too,,,

The interwebs say peppermint oil keeps them away.  I haven't tried it yet, but I'm curious if your stuff works too.  I'm not a fan of spiders...

I sweep them out of eves part of the year but I will leave them alone from September until late November so they can handle those damn flying termites that show up around October. Spiders are difficult to get rid of if they have plenty of hiding places.

When there is an event that the entire family will attend; bug bomb the hell out of your house.
I do it in the garage, attic, and inside the house. Also hit the shed and workshop as well as the archery target.
Definitely makes a difference.
Figure at least 2x a year will keep most of them at bay.
