Fished the buoys from 6am-9am with loads of bait everywhere, the first 2 hours not a scratch, tried throwing everything at them, Straight Kripple, FBR, Apex, Kone Zone flasher, dodger, everything.... at the end all they wanted was a kone zone on straight bait(Herring). Overall it was a slow, slow day, and to be honest I just got really lucky and only saw 1 other fish caught besides the 2 that I boxed, but I did leave at 9 am. lol
Fish: Dressed 14lb and 16lbs
Meal ticket: 4" UV kone zone straight bait (Herring) 50" FOW 22' OTW.
Nice meeting everyone and See you all on the water.

I think the secret is to talk on the phone :smt003. Seems every time you got bit you were on the phone. Great stuff Jae!

Hahaha, twice on the phone with Andrew(Malibu two) and once with Joe(bloodbath) trying to figure where the fish is at. Secret is out. Lol

Nicely done Jae! It was nice meeting you!

I'm curious about your setup, how are you keeping the bait down? I guess a lead ball? I don't see a fiver or any other tackle. Thanks!
