That was an expensive encounter. Should have stowed or leashed those rods.

I'm glad his rod wasn't leashed.
Imagine the tangled mess he could have been in to boot. One less thing to have to hassle with in a situation like that. Especially since objective #1 is to get your @ss back on ASAP.
Now had he had flotation on the other rod it never would have left the holder.
Pucker moment for sure.
And yet, he kept on fishing. Bigger ones than I.

Yea I found out the hard way that my STEEZ rod and reel float by them selves, thank goodness. That set up is about $750.00 for it and I sure as heck don't ever want to see it sink. I accidentally let go of it during a cast since I was casting with my nerve damaged arm and it just let go. Hate it when that happens :smt013!
