So...attended the ARW tourney this year and it was a blast. No keepers, but what the hey. Somebody (maybe it was the caterers who brought the pig?) brought some delicious noodles that I totally have been dreaming of! I think a lot of restaurants call them "Singapore noodles" or curry noodles....they were in the large aluminum trays next to the pig, and were thin noodles like vermicelli. If anybody here brought them, I'd sooo appreciate the recipe!

C'mon Str8fishin give up the goods.... :D

The pickled whatever kind of vegetables right next to the noodles and pig was also really good... what was that?

Glad you liked the Pancit! It's a secret family recipe but my dad is accepting orders. He makes some of the best Filipino food and I have brought different dishes to a couple of NCKA potlucks. Some other favorites amongst the NCKA crew are pork kabobs, papaitan, dinuguan (chocolate meat) and Palabok (seafood noodles). PM me if you would like to place an order for delivery or future potlucks.

Dang! But I totally understand family recipes staying secret....feel the same way about my jerk chicken recipe. :smt001 I'll definately keep you and your pops in mind next time we have a work potluck, though.... As long as you don't mind me passing off your pancit as mine. :smt003
