We just received a handful of Jackson Krakens, along with a couple of Jackson kayaks Cuda 12 and Kilroys. Demos are available now also so you can try before you buy.

I just like the sticker. Anyone want to donate one to me? I promise to write a really good review even if it's bad. I'm easy to buy off like that.  :smt005

Just kidding. I'll have to check it out next time I'm up north! They do look like kick butt kayaks.

I just went out in HMB Saturday for the Kayak safety class and demo the Kraken.  I'm very impress.  Tracks really good without using rudder.  May be a bit heavy for car top.  But it's a battleship with lot's of space.  The seat is super comfortable.  Rod holder everywhere.                         :smt007

May be a bit heavy for car top.

Im glad you got a chance to play. Ive had my Kraken for a little while now, and have no problem "car topping it". One end at a time. lift bow place on car. lift stern slide boat onto rack. maybe if your trying to lift the whole boat at once it'd be too heavy, but Im a small dude that has no problem getting it on top of my vehicle.
