They used to do it here at the Farallones islands in the early 2000's not sure if they are still doing it though.

You should just hop on an Islander shark diving trip. They just about guarantee that you'll see whitey.

Total sensationalism at the shark's expense. Shark tourism doesn't have to be about getting an adrenaline rush, but that's how they market it. The shark was not trying to get him. It was trapped and just wanted out. And then they ended the segment without even telling whether or not it freed itself from the cage.
