We can probly stil arrange one if enough people want to go for it..... MBK wants to do it.  Ocean Kayak reps changed, so I don't know if a new boat would be in the mix.....Maybe Sept 15 or 22?

Guess it would be for the Glory, though I'm sure MBK would come up with a couple nice prizes like pfd's and paddles....

Adding a Poll to see who's interested and get a head count of possibles..

Sept 15th is Open Shelter 2 and the Central Coast Slamdown. Sept 22 is Simply Fishing.
Bummer they haven’t hosted a tourney or reached out to the kayak fishing community for a few years. Their loss.

I know they want to host another derby, I think they just need a direct connection to NCKA.  Like Squidbly has been for Kayak Connection in Santa Cruz.

I feel super negative today :-( haha
Because I just checked and it’s been 3 & half years since MBK hosted a tourney and 2+ years since Kayak Connection hosted a tourney.
I will absolutely support KC forever, but come on guys...we need to get our shit together.

Or, we could all pitch in and buy Sin Coast/Pat  a new kayak, since everybody knows if there is tournament at MBK, he's going to win it...
