Other Kayaks / Sevylor Coleman Colorado 2-Person Fishing Kayak
« on: November 27, 2017, 09:41:51 AM »
My wife and I live in a small apartment and have no room to store a kayak. Turns out she enjoys fishing too so I've been looking for a tandem inflatable kayak. I came across this one on Amazon.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00J0S0JGS/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_8?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER

Good price and has decent reviews. I was wondering if anyone has personal experience or knows of anyone who has experience with this product. We obviously wouldn't take it to the ocean. mostly small lakes in the east bay (SC, Quarry, Del Valle).

Thanks,

David

General Talk / Fishing around Denver, CO
« on: March 21, 2017, 09:31:20 AM »
So I found out my job is moving to Denver, Colorado and I have to make a decision within the next few months if I want to make that move. One of the factors affecting my decision is fishing! duh.

I was wondering if anyone is from Colorado or has personal experience fishing in Colorado. How's the fishing? Whats it like?

Thanks

-Dalong

Looking for a cheap fish finder for my kayak. Used or new.

Couldn't find any details on this model. Its been discontinued.

Legit? Worth the price?

General Fishing Tips / Delta Striper Kayak Fishing
« on: January 07, 2017, 05:14:18 PM »
Happy New Year!

I am looking to go Striper fishing this year but I have no idea where to start. The Delta is massive and and daunting. This would be my first trip to the Delta. Any recommendations for fishing spots? or launch locations? Also, if anyone is planning a trip this month or next I would love to tag along!  :smt006

Thanks,

David

Introductions / Dalong Boat Here
« on: December 19, 2016, 11:56:20 AM »
Hello all,

My name is David and I was introduced to this forum by a guy named John who goes by Psherman?? I was at Shadow Cliffs Reservoir when I met him. He had a blue kayak.

Anyways, I just got myself a fishing kayak and I've only been out twice. Once at Quarry and once at Shadow. I caught a couple small trout each time I went out but nothing worth keeping. I was bait-fishing and casting lures from my kayak.

Im familiar with shore fishing but a newbie when it comes to kayak fishing so I'm eager to learn how to troll (without a downrigger). Eventually I want to get a fish finder but for now Ill rely on other boaters to find out where the fish are.

Besides the east bay lakes, I want to try the delta for Stripers when I feel comfortable out in the water. Im on Fishbrain App as Dlong89 so feel free to add me there.

Talk to you later,

David

Peace,

David
