Hey guys, this will be my first time attending the “fishnChill”, and I had a few questions that I hope could be answered...
1. What should I tell the ol battle axe about why I will not be coming         home for the weekend?
2. What should i wear?
3.whats the limit on strippers per person?

I do appreciate all if any help with this, thanks!

Tell her you met a bunch of random guys on the internet and they invited you to come over for drinks and a sleep over in a secluded camp.  She'll be cool.

Depends on what can you handle.  :smt005

Count me in. There are some big ass tree stumps outside my work and I'm going to see if I can break it down.

This guy got his Stormtrooper membership REVOKED.  If he didn’t snuggle with the Muggles he would’ve died from hypothermia!

Tell her it's the 9th annual kayak fishing event at the Forebay (it's a tradition!). We spend more time BSing and cooking than fishing. Heck, wives & kids are totally welcome too. But the weather is usually crappy and my wife would prefer not to camp in February (I still invite her but I think she knows I'm bluffing). At the very least, it's a chance to talk about fishing & kayaking with a bunch of yakfishing vets, and checkout how everybody rigs their kayaks.
Bring warm clothes! On my kayak, I usually just wear waders at the forebay. The 2 main techniques are trolling plugs or drifting live minnows (from the main street market in santa nella). Limit is 2 stripers over 18". You can expect to catch btwn 1-6 per day but the avg size is about 16-20" usually. There are also largemouth bass & catfish.
The group site is right on the water, so we can launch our kayaks there and just drag it up the beach when you're done. No need to use the launch ramp or put kayak back on your truck at night, which is a major bonus. The mussel inspection is kinda harsh there, so make sure there isn't any water inside the hull or mud on the surface. We get about a dozen parking passes with the group site. After that it costs like $5/day for additional vehicles. There is plenty of parking at the group site. Then you're welcome to setup a tent wherever you want or sleep in your truck. RVs and trailers are ok too (no hookups though).

And everybody owes RockHopper $ for reserving the group site. So make sure to bring some cash.
