Shasta CA is looking at enclosed trailers for kayaks and other equipment, if anyone has contacts or knows of good company to deal with please let us know. HOW is a 501c3, possibly there is a company who will consider this in the pricing?
Thanks,
Bryan

I’ll chime in instead, we decide to go with a flatbed that I custom built a rack for as an enclosed trailer that holds kayaks is going to be big enough that I wouldn’t want to use anything short of a 3/4 ton truck to haul. Not sure who will be hauling it from time to time we decide against something that heavy.
It will be getting a fresh coat of paint tomorrow.

Thanks, what are you going to do with PFD's, paddles, other gear? Add some storage boxes or is this strictly kayaks?

Our trailer is nice, but you do need a good 3/4 ton truck to be safe. We called around and no one really wanted to help on the price. We went o Northern NV to pick it up when we bought it. I think the total was around 5k if I remember right. We saved a few bucks, but not much. Your best option if you really want an enclosed at a good price is to buy used from someone off of the street. It may take a while to find one, but that is where you will get the best deal. 5k is about the mark you will hit for a 20' or so. Any smaller than 20' and it will get real tight real fats. Our 20' just works out for us.

Painted it today and we got 4 truck boxes that will get bolted to the deck and up front will be tote crates (not your Tote) :smt044
