Beautiful very nice work I've been saving up pieces and parts just can never seem to find the time to do that including the dead Cherry saplings in the backyard. Also had couple of my deer hides tanned without the hair so I could use them for things like that

It was a really fun project, but it took me the better part of a year to actually finish it just doing the handle and sheath
.
I did pick up a long fillet blade which is in process. Got the handle finished and I'm working on the sheath. It will be similar to the hunting knife but in aluminum rather than brass, since the knife bolster is stainless steel.

I had a bit of a setback last week when I was preparing to wet mold the sheath. Took the protective cardboard off of the blade, then promptly fumbled it and stabbed myself in the left hand. :smt012

Frikkin chaos of the universe: work with the blade for more than a month without a problem, take the blade cover off and stab myself within 10 seconds. :smt011 yet also  :smt005
