It's Medeiros if you are trying to google it.
Randy and I are giving this second shot at stripers a hard look...... :smt038
Any idea if live bait is available?
Weedless lures are needed?

Live bait is available just down 33 in Gustine (about 5 minutes). I have never caught a striper in the Forebay on minnows, always trolling or casting lures. If they are on the boil like they where last year you will want rattle traps. We could get them in the weeds as well but I just use poppers in there so the weeds aren't so bad.

I'm in.

Any lure suggestions?

Also, it looks like there is an east and west entrance to the Medeiros area, is it clear where to launch from there?

I'm in as well.

Brian, the launch spot at Medeiros is where the phone / light icons are on the map you provided, N of 152.  I've only caught a couple of stripers in Oneill, but plan on taking Rapal X-Raps as well as picking up some minnows to drown.

See you there.

Rattle traps and Xraps, if you have some top water plugs bring them as well.
