Thank you to everyone, I am still all warm and fuzzy inside   :smt004
Though I went home with a few raffle prizes (including a super cool board), the best part of the day was talking to Mooch and getting a big bear hug before we left  :)  that hug alone made my day!

Jim

A special thank you for making a great day for my little bud as well!  Issac said the whole thing was "cool" I think he really liked helping with the raffle...

Donna and I had a most awesome time.It was great meeting so many people that I've only known by their screen name.

Special thanks to Porky, Big Jim, their families and to all who helped yesterday.

I could not believe that out of the 11 raffle tickets we bought 7 were called. Many of you probably thought I was nuts for.not taking the winnings, especially that fine G Loomis rod, but it wouldn't of been fair. You guys work your asses off every day to earn your pay ( well except FishMaster) and I was for the most part sponsered by corporate dollars. So we decided we would only accept those winnings on the tickets we paid for.

Mooch, as I told you yesterday, we love you, you're in our daily prayers, and stay strong brother!!

Rich

Cant Thank every body enough for their support for this great cause. We had a great showing, and i could feel alot of love for the MOOCHACHO. I Gotta say it turned out to be a pretty terrific day. I Was shocked when i heard mooch on the radio. I thought he wasnt coming. I know that it wasnt a race. However I Am the self proclaimed winner of the 2010 pay it forward Mooch Paddle Battle.  :smt005 I cant put into words how much this has moved me, all the Support for our Brother Joel out there on the beach and all the great people has truley inspired Me and Us, To LIVE LIFE. Mooch through Adam's  enthusiasm after you  giving Adam the "maddness" which he then infected me with, which I have infected others with. you have trickled down a life long passion and brotherhood which is rivled by none. YOU ARE THE MAN.

Special Thanx To Porky, Grill master 1, And all those working hard to ensure a good day and some good prizes for a great man.

P.S last pics. All Mooch supporters and BBQ Moochers. JK  :smt003

I am touched and feeling the love still from yesterday. What an amazing turn out
we had. Special thanks to Brent and family for all your hard work  putting on
such great event for our brother Mooch. Thanks to the A-Hull for holding down the
fort for us. FishMaster1's manteca was awesome once again. Finally great to meet
Karen and Mark from Hook1, super cool folks. For all that donated something to
the good cause, thank you. Oh and my friends that came with me were also so
impressed of our family( NCKA). See you all soon.

I just liked to say thanks to everyone who put this on.  I am still trying to figure out how "Sharkbait" is going to wear 2 PFD's and use that smoker while trying to evade GSW's.  Great talking to HDRich and his wife. I hope to go out riding with you guys here in the future. BML that advise on stretching is already working.  One thing I would like to say, I know I see a lot of people who are well off financially here in the bay area, but that is money...yesterday was more a measure of the worth of soul than anything and in my book, Mooch, you just broke the bank in Vegas!  You have touched a lot of people, and I know I am not a lone when I say I hope your around a whole lot longer and touch a few more lives!

The Germans have a saying when 2 fisherman pass each other "Petri hail," and the other responds with "Petri, Dank!" Or Loosely translate Hail Fisherman, Thanks Fisherman! Petri Hail Mooch!

Truly a stellar day out on the water -- you could have walked from hatch cover to hatch cover out by the mile marker.   Did anyone get a final count of the number of boats out there?  I did an informal count and got over 40.

Oh, and I caught 3 fish (4 if you include that late starfish).  Two sardines and one kingfish, baby.   Over 20 inches of delicious dining (two six-inchers and one 8-incher).

It was my first kayaking experience with both a DJ and an open bar.

Keep up the fight, Joel.   And let us know what else we can do!

What can you say about a day like that, but I am proud to be apart of an origination like NCKA that just keeps getting better all the time. Hat off to all that put this thing together and the cooks what can you say but OFF THE HOOK well done. Joel you are well loved :smt007, positive thought you’re way my friend :smt006.

All I can say is that the Nor Cal group of kayak anglers is ... what do I say  ...OVER THE TOP!!  You are all so wonderful and the amount of money you raised to help Mooch is fantastic!  It was GREAT to finally meet you in person Joel!!  Sorry it took this for us to drive up there!  It was great to see some of you again and to put faces to names!!    Mark and I wouldn't have missed this for the world and we just want to thank all of you for the warm welcome we received.   We hope to see all of you again soon and fish with you next time!

The turnout was terrific. The next Pay It Forward event will need to be staged elsewhere, off state park property, but that's a minor issue. It was a lot of fun to see my friends and make new ones. Thanks to all who organized the event and to all who participated. And thanks to Freddie for the ride back to the harbor...my body was totally wasted...could barely walk today. Note to myself: don't stand on your feet for 10 straight hours.
