Luckily just a massive Angel. 

Big male that I found buried...can see his claspers swinging beneath him when he takes off...

These fish are POWERFUL and have very, very, very sharp teeth and strong jaws...

Please be careful if you come across one...

What I did in the vid is not advisable and if he had reacted and come back at me it could have ended badly...

I made the decision to wake him up but was definitely being cautious and keeping my gun between me and his mouth...

Beautiful fish, stoked I got him on film, and glad he is still out there.

I have speared them before and it is NOT easy to kill them or clean them, and so even though the meat is delicious I don't see myself taking another one...
