I'd like to take the yak out to dive off of this coming Saturday 6/2. I'd prefer to have a dive buddy (for "safety" aka wife's peace of mind).

Conditions are not ideal as of right now: SATURDAY: NW winds 10 to 20 kt with gusts up to 30 kt. Wind waves 3 to 4 ft. NW swell 6 to 7 ft. They are like this all week so I expect visibility to be a bit low too.

If swell height to swell interval is 1:2 or better, I'd like to go either to Ghost Tree area or Northern Big Sur.
If swell height to swell interval is less than 1:2 (not fun in a kayak), I'd like to go to SCW.

I'm open to somewhere you'd like to try as well - just been dying to get out on the kayak.

PM me if you're interested. I'd prefer to dive in 10-50 feet of water but if you are not up for that depth, still let me know if you're interested. I'm flexible - just want to shoot some fishies.

UPDATE:

Looks like it's calming down! Good News! Vis might still be less than ideal, but at least we wont be in a washer machine with big wind waves!

SAT
NW winds 15 to 25 kt. Wind waves 3 to 5 ft. NW swell 3 to 5 ft at 12 seconds.
