Thanks sandwg. Appreciate it. I'm not in a big hurry to sell it. My grandsons are starting to show some interest in fishing now so I'm thinking of trading up for another boat.

I was out there on Wednesday too. I only got one hit trolling a grub @ 5' but it didn't stick. Marked a bunch of fish off one bank in a cove so I drifted through with corn powerboat and got one 4 pounder. Ran into a couple other yakers at the ramp too. Was that you? I was in a yellow outback. If so thanks fo e the tips...

Places to Launch and Camp / Re: delta access
« on: January 24, 2020, 07:04:27 AM »
Well I didn't even get a hit, but I did enjoy a nice ride on glass. Calm as could be. Talked to a few other fishermen and they did concur there are stripers in there. I only marked a few and most of them were by the ramp. On the plus side I was having trouble with my GPS not leaving a trail. I had one bar on my phone so I emailed the Lowrance help desk. Ten minutes later I got a reply that solved my problem. Pretty cool.

I went to Big Break yesterday and definitely will take the yak there. Think I'll pay 10 bucks at the ramp though as opposed to pulling it a quarter mile. It is paved all the way though. On my way I stopped at Bethany I believe it's called. Small body of water. Talked to a guy and he said they just had brought a load of fish caught in the pumps there and released them a couple days ago. Saw one nice striper come out so far. Yak is loaded and I'm on my way...
