Hello,
I'm new to the group and very much wish to go kayak fishing for salmon. I only have the paddle, SOT.  Maybe someday I can afford the peddle!! Anyways, does anyone want to go fishing tomorrow?  I'd like to go for salmon, stripers, or even rockfish.

Welcome aboard!  If you are a true Rush fan, what Rush song best describes kayak fishing?   :smt003

Welcome.

The force of the dark side (pedal kayak) is strong, and you will not be able to resist...
Please don't spoil my day, I'm miles away...

Welcome!

You can definitely still catch salmon from a paddle kayak, it just takes a little more effort.

Do you have much (any?) experience kayaking in the open ocean? The salmon bite is often 1-4+ miles offshore, so you need to be prepared for that before you venture out.
