Anyone want to join me!?!? Reports in WON (Western outdoor news) of 16-20 inch Crappie on rock ledges! Gotta try and verify that! (Once and for ALL 18 " crappie) Hunt starts around 5pm and goes till 9ish in the dark or till we decide to split.... Dress warm. After this weekends rain. Lake will mud up till spring... Last chance run!!!

Interested in going Thursday also?  My wife and kid are going to Disney on Ice so I have a rare Thursday evening available.

How'd you make out Ron? I caught a 16 inch crappie at Hennessey a few months back and on first glance I thought it was 18 and immediately thought of you and your quest. Hope you slayed the beast.

Got out there and tried to find crappie.... Due to lake rising 30' (or just bad luck) was only able to find 1 13" bass. Fun night that got Chilly by 8:30 when we got off the water... Fish are there according to Lowrance. Lock jaw due to conditions? Tossed 30 different plastics and even (shocking!) Night crawlers as a last resort. Beautiful fall evening with the moon and clean water. Even had a fox barking in the darkness. :smt006

Tony=4 bass
Tom =2 bass
Ron =1 bass
