One of the most epic days of lingcod fishing I have ever had fishing on the California coast. Throwing swimbaits and live bait for HUGE lingcod and rockfish. I lost count of how many lingcod I caught but I would guess it was somewhere around 20 with the biggest just shy of 15 pounds. Couldn't have asked for better conditions out on the water, it was like a lake out there and only got better as the day went on. Check out the video from our truly epic day of fishing:

Not surprised, 1/4 mile from shore get my limit every time. Mystery fish broke me off a 60 lbs early this year.
Give a man a fish, he eats for a day. Teach a man to fish, he'll sit all day with a rod in his hand and no fish.

Adam, nice done! It was nice meeting you in person last Saturday. How did you do on that day? Did the wind lay down when you were out there?

I caught more lingcod in the first 30 min than the entire boat did at the tourney, lol.

This was a few weeks ago but I believe Miguel was out there again this past weekend and had another great day with big numbers. I hope to fish my kayaks down there next time the weather is good!

Nice meeting you too! The weather was great out there. The fishing sucked but I did get 5 keeper crab!

Yeah I was surprised it held up to, haha. I am not sure exactly but it looks to be about 18 feet I would guess.
