I launched at Buck's at around 6:30 AM... to my dismay it was already more breezy than normal for that time of the day.  Since I was alone and didn't have a radio, I played it safe to begin with and anchored up just inside the first duck blind.  Caught 4 schoolie stripers there... 18 - 22 inches.

by 9:30 or so, the wind died so I ventured out to the usual spot between the duck blinds and the pumphouse.  Sat there for the rest of the morning with a few nibbles... then one good striper at 29 inches.  No pumps today.

.

I pulled anchor at about Noon and headed back, just as an ugly headwind came up.  Took a little over an hour to get back, paddling into a solid 20 mph wind.  That sort of sucked but I needed the exercise.

Nice fish.  That sounds like a real workout.  San Pablo seems like it can go from heaven to hades in a second.  We had on/off weather today too, but nothing bad at all.
