I'll be camping somewhere nearby on Friday night, and launching Saturday early morning. Haven't decides EXACTLY where yet, but it's looking like Ocean Cove or Stillwater. I haven't kayaked at either.

What do you make of NOAA's forecast? Are those coves protected from
at least most of the wind and chop?

I'm staying close to the Fort Ross Store.  Diving in early am.   I'll  come by about 8-9 and join you if the wind isn't already blowing.  Are you on the radio?  #69

there is a certain amount of protection... but bottom line there will be a work out involved...  early morning is the least amount of wind.... early limits will be the order of the day...

i will be camping at ocean cove.  i have a green 2005 hyundai acescent with a thule rack on top.
