I’ve always tried to rinse all drysuit, dry tops, bibs, wetsuits and booties after each use. This will greatly extend the life of your gear. Sometimes I just use the hose and spray them down, but for heavier fish goo, blood and stank I like to fill up a bin with water and then add some wetsuit/drysuit shampoo from McNett and let soak before hand washing inside and out-then hang dry. I highly recommend a great product that I periodically like to add into the water as a deodorizer that was formally called Mirazyme and is now sold under the label Revivex Oder eliminator. Worth every penny!

Hose my wetsuit every time. Pop it in the washing machine, front loader, with some wetsuit soap when it starts to get smelly. Probably every 4-6 trips.

This is pretty much my routine too. Never used wetsuit soap tho, just a tiny amount of reg detergent to knock out the fish slime smell.

how I imagine the average response here - "it puts the lotion on its skin or it gets the hose"
