Can't wait I'll be there.  Group Camping? Potluck? :cook
Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.

Man, it would be sweet to see a kayak win that!

How many motor boats usually end up on the lake for this event?

They generally get 50-60 entrants, but there are usually at least 2 to a boat....so 25 boats or so.  I would also LOVE it if one of the "canoe people" won.

Where can you enter the tournament at?
Why Do I paddle a kayak instead of a float tube or a pontoon boat? I like seeing where I'm going not where I've been!
Paddle safe and wrap'em tight.

To the best of my knowledge, you can only enter at the tourney or at the meeting in April...they are SUPER old school.

Sean,

I am in for sure.  I will work on Brian; but I think he is saving his WAF points for Elk.

Sean, it was good to meet you at the show.

Guys, I would love to meet a few of you up at Mendo. I have been looking for an oportunity to graduate from as Sean put it, "one of the 400 odd members that never says a word".

The only water my kayak has seen so far is rain on the drive home from the store. I have been itching to get it out and at least make sure it floats. So a chance to get in the water and meet a few of you guys would be great.
I probably won't enter the Tourney (mostly because I will need advice on catching stripers up there) and I wouldn't want you all to hold back just to keep me out of the money.

looking forward,

Chas
