Title: EZ REC RACK getting your gear (kayak) down the road the EZ way
Post by: yatzmail@yahoo.com on April 25, 2018, 05:53:34 AM
Thought someone here may be interested...

EZ Rec-Rack is the one person loading system for kayaks, paddle boards, canoes, surfboards, and camping gear. Life's tough enough getting your gear down the road shouldn't be.

I saw this, it looks interesting but you gotta be careful depending on what kind of kayak you have. An Hobie Revo/Adventure, Old Town Predator with rudder, and probably more kinds of kayaks would get the rudder totally f'd up if you load/unload this way.

A solution might be to load it backwards (bow pointing towards the rear of your truck) but I'd be interested to hear experiences with this.

$679 this is good for lazy people with money  :smt005 I'm still ok with my Revo 13 and getting a little work out lifting it aint half bad.  :smt002

$679 is a little less then I paid for my kayak.  Definitely going after a specific demo in the market.  Loading still requires lifting the kayak onto the rack and then lifting it on to the top of the vehicle.  At least tieing it down is easier  :smt005
