Decided to crush myself and cram as much as possible into as little time as possible.
Woke up at 1:30AM Saturday, got the wife up at 2 and headed to Van Damme by 3.
Arrived at the parking lot and promptly took a well deserved nap.
Woke up by 9:45, refreshed, and donned the Yazbeck.
Took 2.5 lbs of weight off the belt to see how it would feel.
I think I can take another 2 lbs, maybe even 4 off. We'll see next year.
Kicked out not too far, made a drop in murky conditions, nothing but gravel on the bottom.
Went out deeper, made another drop at 20 feet, same thing.
Went out a little further. I made a drop between 25-30. A little cleaner, still gravel but with small boulders spread out from each other.
Found one rock and popped two abs off of it. Stuck one to the chest, kept the other in my hands. Went to kick up and didn't realize how weighted down I was. With a little more effort I was off the bottom and up top no problem.
One more drop to 30 feet and scored my last ab of the season. 7.5'' WIDE.
Back at the truck I sipped on a Old Chub while wearing my after dive suit.
Loaded up the truck and off to Anderson Valley brewery.
Wild Turkey bourbon barrel stout was off the hook. Took home a growler and a few other assorted libations.
Headed to Lake Sonoma for en evening piggy hunt.
Becky came along for the hike.
Saw O2B in my secret spot.  :smt044 Just kidding. It's his spot.
No luck but afterwards we kicked it with Mako1, Fishadow and O2B back at camp.
Great company and food as always.
Woke up by 6:45AM to see the crew was already hunting. Checked out a couple of spots but put little effort into hunting. Wanted to get home in time to avoid traffic.
No holiday piggy, but I did get my holiday abs.
I will sleep well tonight.

It's actually pretty bad ass.
There is a pocket in front. It's big enough you can put your clothes in it, slide your arms through the sleeves, and reach your clothes from the inside.
Makes changing in a crowded public place no problem, especially when kids are around.

That looks like it was one awesome day. Abs, and beer. I wish Northcoast Brewery still did their fish and chips...it was awesome, and always a must have after a day on the water.
