Title: Headwaters Kayak - Native 2017
Post by: bmb on October 17, 2016, 03:09:53 PM
Hello All,

Headwaters has recently placed an order for a variety of different Native/LiquidLogic kayaks.  Please feel free to give them a call to see what they have on order.  Truck should be arriving mid Nov.

I'll be heading up there in Nov as well to pick up my new Manta Ray 12 Propel - as always, the offer stands to let you try out any of the kayaks that I have at my local lakes or even to borrow it for a couple days if you're willing to come pick it up in Livermore.

I will have:
Slayer Propel 10
Manta Ray Propel 12
Hurricane Skimmer 140

Thanks,
Ben

If you have the Skimmer 140 Tandem, I'd love to try one of those!

I don't believe Headwaters will be carrying Hurricane boats.  Unfortunately I don't have the tandem edition.  I'm sure we could get one down here eventually if we put together a demo day.

Thanks for making the effort.  If we do have a demo day, I'd love to try on the tandem if you can make it happen.  Sounds like a great alternative to go out on a tandem with a light weight tandem yak!  Sure would help to go out with a kid (or adult or more gear) and one less big issue to worry about.

At 65 lbs for a tandem yak, that's a win in my book!  I wish they have more pics on the 140T though ....

I checked the Hurricane Skimmers at MBK a few months ago and they look nice (and light!). But haven't paddled them. You can demo there for pretty cheap though.

Thanks for the offer!  Let me wait until summer, I will take you up on this offer.  The tandem mate I have in mind is a newbie, so 'need all conditions to be perfect :)

Unfortunately I don't have a tandem, just the standard single.  If you want to try and tandem I might be able to find one for you in late April.

Sounds good, let's talk then.  You told me about the single, so I know about that.  Let's talk again closer to summer.  Thanks again for being supportive!
