Greetings,

My real name is Matt Mais. I’m a resident of Crescent City, Ca and am an avid kayak angler. I really appreciate being allowed to take part in this forum. I have an older model Hobie Rev and an much used Malibu two-seater. Most of my fishing is done solo in the ocean, but I prefer to go with another person. Please hit me up if you would like a partner. I am safety minded and at the same time like to push my boundaries. Above all, I have a deep respect for the sea. I’m always trying to figure out how to become a better fisher, whether it’s learning new rigging options, trolling techniques or baits. Right now, what i’m most excited about is expanding the number of species on my resume, particularly those that are flat, such as starry flounder, petrale sole and sand dabs. Lastly, I would like to thank the administrator again for access to what appears to be an amazing site. I can’t wait to see the rest of it.

Thank you,

Matt

Many places are good to be from, CC is a great place to be and to fish! Glad you're here. South Beach, Whalers, 6th St. The Stairs, Pebble Beach. We have many choices.
Hope you were able to get out for some Dungeness this year. They've been great this year.

What a great crew NCKA is!!! See that Matt?  We're all so courteous we're going to wait for at least your second post to start razzing you about wearing a pfd.  WEll, I guess everyone else is anyway.

True welcome though, brother.  Nice fishing and nice friends here.  Weelcome to the club!
