I need to move a tomato tank tub for the aquaponics setup. Tub is 7 x 22. Having trouble finding a place to rent one. Worse case I will go rent a 26' box truck.

How far do you need to trailer?  Rent a U-Haul flatbed trailer?  Tow Truck company (flatbed)?  U-Haul 26' box is an option but you will need to lift it kinda high to get it in.

Might want to look at a car hauler/flat bed from U-Haul (caution would be if there is too much weight rear of the axle which will cause trailer whip).  Better solution might be to hire a flat bed tow truck/driver.  Ryder, Penske, independent equipment rental comapny?

I have a 16' flatbed car trailer you can use. I'm just north of Lincoln in Sheridan. If you want to use it it is at my buddy house. You can pick it up there. Call me 916-202-2631

Thanks for the offer Rob. This tub is 22' long and 7' wide so I'd be sticking out 8 feet and i fear cracking it.

You are correct assuming 100% utilization of trailer length.

I have a 18' flat bed that has the last 2' slight beaver tail.  (Could shim up that to make it a true 18' flat)  I'm 11 miles up hwy 49 from Plymouth.  How heavy a load is that?  My tires are not the best, but are serviceable if the load is 4K or under.  You are welcome to use it.  It's not pretty, but it is solid; axles are all freshly greased, the brakes work right, I can even loan you the reciever hitch insert with right sized ball.

BTW, there are a whole lot of those tubs in Lodi behind Dan's shop I saw last Saturday....
