Okay, I realized when I made this for GS8 it was too strong but forgot to change the recipe online. So last night I made some and got it just right ( had to double the mayo and sour cream ) also didn't forget the fresh cilantro and it made a big difference.

Cheers

Now if we can just get Taco Shack Jack's tomatillo sauce recipe ( the awesome green stuff ! )

I've heard your famous recipe has 25 ingredients,  are you holding back some "secret" ingredients?  :smt003

Wow!  Thanks for the great info Paul  :smt001

I’ve been out of the loop so sorry if this question is out of sync.
I know that the 20 fathom limitation is much better than 50 fathom, but still that’s 120FOW. Most of the rock fishing we do is around 30-90 max. For folks like me (bay area) it means a lot of driving (and paddling) to get to legal fishing depths.

What am I missing?

I think you misunderstood the 20 fathoms regulation.  We can fish for RF within or <20 fathom line.

Had someone call from 408-963-5952 and say they were from the Santa Clara county Sheriffs department and said I had two warrants for failure to appear for jury duty summons.  They were very insistent that I was in serious trouble and needed to prove that I wasn't the one that signed a certified letter for the summons.  They started instructing me to stay on the phone and get ready to drive down to the office while still on the phone.  I started getting suspicious there, but as soon as they said that I had a bail that would need to be paid I decided to accidentally drop the call, and then try and call the number back which went to a empty mail box. They called repeatedly and asked why I got disconnected and I confronted them as scammers, and hung up.  They texted a lot of profanity in response.

Dang, I cant believe that I belived them for a minute there... Hopefully no one else falls for this.

Did you report this incident and their phone number to the fraud authority?

I use magnets to pull stuff around in the hull.

Thanks for the great idea Mark.

I searched the web but can't find a map that shows the devide line between California Central-N and Cetral-S of 36degree.  Appreciate if someone can post it here.

Hi Sonny

I have attached a blown-up view of the 36° N latitude line.
Paul

Thanks Paul.  I am trying to find out if Monterey County is North or South of the 36° line.

Update: NVM, App works offline  :smt007 :smt007

What do you do if you have no signal? Is screenshot of your license sufficient enough? Just installed the app.

Here is the offline instruction:

While connected to the internet and viewing the Welcome screen, tap Click here to refresh located in the upper right corner of the screen. This ensures your current licenses and validations are saved within the app and are available for offline use.

No. Pictures or screenshots of licenses are not valid. Pursuant to California Code of Regulations, Title 14, Section 700.4(f)(opens in new tab), licenses displayed electronically must be displayed through the CDFW License App. However, the CDFW License App stores licenses within the app for display when there is no internet connectivity via cellular service or wi-fi.

Here is the link to the detail instruction: https://wildlife.ca.gov/LicenseApp?utm_medium=email&utm_source=govdelivery#603364115-will-a-screenshot-of-my-fishing-license-displayed-on-the-cdfw-license-app-be-acceptable-when-there-is-no-cell-phone-service
Paul

I had my fishing license in my wallet under my dry suit and a screen shot of it on my phone.  Guess the game warden trusted me with the screen shot  :smt002

A screen shot of the fishing license is good enough since I was asked and shown it to a game warden the day I caught my PB Halibut.

Thanks for the ARW fishing report Tsuri.
