Been out 1-2x week in Feb. & early March. Averaging ~10 stripers & sometimes a few largemouth. Usually 1-2 legal-sized fish mixed in. The little dinks of the fall are now 14-16" & put up a good fight.
Water clarity quite good, esp. yesterday, and been a little better in the north Delta. Water warming into the 50s, and getting close to 60 yesterday. So many boats out yesterday - a Wednesday - it was almost like a Saturday!
I've done well on the usual chart/white clousers on T14 line, but others have reported good results on blue gill imitations.
Like everyone, hoping for more rain even if it puts down the fishing for a while.

Good to see your getting out Bill. I've been hearing from one of my guide buddies that I need to get out there now!

There was a gentleman out on Sunday at Kings with a pretty sweet setup. He was flyfishing from a Diablo Amigo with a custom anchor setup on the rear and a Hobie stand up bar that he adapted to fit with the Yak Attack rails. He said he had caught a decent number of bass out there.

Hey Bill. Great to hear from you and great to hear the delta is fishing well. Been to long since we last flung flies together.
