Sturdy it is not.  Really thinking that I'll not be using them on this boat as I troll with long rods anyway and the ram ball rod holders work quite fine (the yakattack one).  I like the idea of the gearheads and they work great on my T13, so taht's probably where they'll stay.  My whole thought with this boat is to make it as simple as possible so I don't get frustrated on the water with a ton a junk in/on my boat.

I haven't tested it on the water, and most definitely will as soon as rainpacolypse is over with.  The flex that I can see when banging on it makes me question the sturdiness and wonder if a longer rail would help out with that in regards to the scotty gearhead extender deals.

Mine used to be a lot more sturdy when I was a young man.  :smt044

After the kids went to bed I straight up tweaked on my boat tonight with the wife out on a girl's night kinda thing.  I installed my transdoucher, tidy'd up the wiring and think I have my boat all ready to fish.  Now if the weather'd cooperate some,.... :smt010

I'll post up some more photos of the boat all put together, but for now, enjoy my organized chaos.

This looks Great.  Where did you mount the transducer?   Do you have pics and supply list avail? The Lowrance Transducer does not fit snug through the scupper
