Eddie:
If I use a slow pitch metal jig for salmon do i have to use a single barbless "circle" hook or can i use a regular pinched barb hook?
AL:
From my understanding it depends on if you are moving "under power" or drifting

--- End quote --- I'll be moving, by paddle, a lil' slower than trolling...while drifting to jig a little...then paddle...hmmm...not bait or live bait seems to be also part of the equation...not sure if they would swallow a jig whole light an anchovy morsel...
Dry Bones:
You can use a barbless "J" hook on a lure. A barbless circle hook must be used when mooching with bait.

--- End quote --- Thank you. Is everything that is not a circle a "J" hook? Kahle, Big river, octopus...?
