I'm from natomas, see you  on the water soon!   :smt006 Don't forget to buy a vhf and a wet suit if you plan on fishing the salt.

eventually make it to the salt. I want to make sure that i have enough time on the water where i understand and feel what the kayak is going to do when there is a bit of rough water or when my gear is loaded a certain way. or if i seated forward or back and so on and so forth. and someone had mention a safety course in HMB i think that is 100 bucks that i will want to take before i head to salt.

I'm in Rocklin and new to NCKA myself. We camp a lot so mostly taking the yaks to mountain lakes. But I am interested in going for Dungeness in Bodega Bay.
