I joined this site a few days ago to a resounding reception of help by the people of this site, and now i was just wondering who here is considered the "Sacramento crew" as other people have referred to them as. What members are based out of he south sacramento/Elk Grove area? I would love to link up with hem and do some yak talk with them and ge to know the people that i might see on the water. If you could throw your nmaes out on this post if you are ok with that. I will probably contacts a few of you. Or dont put your name out there either way it's ok...

Hey,
I'm in the sac area (Loomis). I do some local fishing here and there but really like getting out in the salt. Lets hook up and get OTW sometime. I have been wanting to head down towards sutter slough and go for some stripers.

I guess I'm part of the Sac Crew.

Roseville here. I've only been fishing the local lakes (Folsom, Rollins, Camp Far West) out of the Yak this year but looking forward to the shad and stripper run this year on the American.

fantastic so there are a few of you, great! Like I had stated in posts in other parts of the forum I am just waiting on my AR15 to sell and then i will go and get all my stuff and get my line wet. yeah i was hoping to anchor up over by Rossmoor on the American for Shad. I have fished there for year from the shore with great success now i just want to try it in some wide slower water on the American out in the middle. Not to mention the rafters floating by put on quite a show.... :smt001 always entertaining

ithink before i take the yak(whatever one i decide on getting) out i will probably go to Amador for Crappie...just so i can get used to sitting in it before i go to moving water...
