Yes, I have done self recovery. Safety above all.

I see that now, the web site about Mendocino fishing was very informative. It is definitely in my book marks.

Now the question should  I try my hand at salmon fishing in Mendocino County or rock fishing in MB? Any thoughts?

What is the out look for Shelter Cove/Ocean Cove for Thursday/Friday? Is anyone heading that way? I am a noob looking to get more experience rock fishing.

My son and I have had some great adventures on lake Natoma. He is serving in the Navy now. But maybe we could hook up some time.

Yes it can be addicting. I have only been in it for a year, and it is all I think about. I am also from the Sacramento area, maybe we drop a line together sometime.

Hi all,
I am Randy and just got into kayak fishing this last summer. I has been a blast so far. Just yesterday I picked up a Malibu X-Factor. I can hardly wait to take it out. However, the rivers here are running high and fast. Maybe I will look more toward the bay area in the next few weeks. Any ideas, pointers?
